Don G. King

Partner and CEO,
Impact Performance Group

As the CEO of Impact Performance Group, Don G. King drives sales and client relationships within the Impact Outsourcing Solutions, Impact Workforce Technology, and Impacting Leaders entities.

Don’s career in the staffing and HR industry began in 1986, when he operated his first Express Employment Professionals staffing franchise.

While producing at the highest levels within the system, opening additional franchise locations, and serving as a regional developer for the state of Georgia, Don saw a need to help bring more stability and security to the non-variable hour (Full time) workforce which Express did not serve.

He worked to meet this need by establishing Impact Outsourcing Solutions in 2001. Impact Outsourcing is a Professional Employer Organization whose mission is to partner with employers to employ non-variable hour employees offering them a better quality of life through pay increases and full time benefits options. Impact Outsourcing Solutions fulfills this mission through its proprietary Professional Employer Core2 model, in addition to its HR training and consulting, payroll and tax administration, and risk mitigation services. Throughout his years in the staffing and professional employer industries, Don became familiar with vendor management systems and the numerous challenges they posed to VMS clients, staffing firms, and the associates they employ. Don knew he could create a better platform that would allow VMS clients to make more informed staffing decisions and for VMS vendors to better communicate and serve their clients.

Don used his knowledge and experiences to create Impact Workforce Technologies (IWT) in 2011, a VMS company that seeks to enhance the VMS vendor/provider relationship rather than remove it. With the launch of Clarity VMS in 2015 Don has disrupted the traditional MSP/VMS model and marketplace. He claims it to be the Clarity VMS Revolution, and with the engagement IWT is receiving for the use of Clarity VMS, Don’s claim appears to have been validated.
